In de stille bossen van Rhijngeest stuit een vader met zijn dochters op een verborgen wereld, een gezin uit Irak dat onopgemerkt tussen de bomen leeft.
 Wat begint met spelende kinderen groeit uit tot een breekbare band tussen vreemden die verhalen, thee en stilte delen.
 Maar wanneer Tavis verdwijnt en Nadjina het nieuws over zijn lot hoort, neemt haar verhaal een hartverscheurende wending.
 Onder dezelfde bomen waar ooit een andere dolende ziel ronddwaalde, lijkt de geschiedenis zich te herhalen, in fluisteringen, verdriet en liefde.
 Nu rust er een naamloze vrouw in een eenvoudig graf met de naam Nadjina. Was dat ooit echt haar naam?
Rhijngeest 2 nodigt de luisteraar uit in een cirkel van mededogen, ballingschap en herinnering, waar elke ontmoeting een echo achterlaat.
